IISD is a National Independent, Not-for-Profit, Public Policy Think Tank and Scientific Research Institute at New Delhi, with an Objective of Working, Round the Clock, Since July 2007, for ensuring Overall improvement of lives and living of Common Man, through State Of Art Research, Followed by Pragmatic Actions with Enough Infuse Of Knowledge and Innovations; as usual as engaging with Vulnerable Communities, like Farmers, Fishermen, Craftsmen and Artisans, at Grass-root level. Moreover, IISD works with the Governments, Bi-lateral and Multilateral agencies, Industries, Academia, premier Scientific Research Institutes, Private and Public Sector organizations, Multinationals (MNCs), Credible National Laboratories and the other Civil Society Organizations(CBOs), using Research, Policy Advisory & Social, Scientific and Engineering Consultancy as appropriate tools to attain its Basic Objectives.
